I opted into Being Hard in every aspect of my existence, which helped my markers of 'success' but killed my interior life.

Over time, Being Hard went from a coping mechanism to my default setting.  I no longer felt connected to my breath, intuition, sexual organs, or even my own ideas.  

Because I was actively trying to murder all of my feelings and general 'too much'ness, I did some *really* smart things. 

Like that time I knew I wanted a divorce and stayed in the relationship for another seven years.  Or that time I was 'too busy' to go to the doctor so my thyroid shut all the way down, meaning I gained 20 pounds in 6 weeks, and had to take two naps a day to get by.  Again: so so smart.

It wasn't until about five years ago that it dawned on me: Being Hard might not be the answer. 

I discovered breathwork -- which I'll teach you -- and started to soften. I opened box after box after box within my own heart and breathed through the emotions I'd stuffed there.  Turns out the other side of everything I was avoiding held softness, steadiness, pleasure, and joy.  

I came back to myself, bigger and fuller and more alive than ever.  And I learned a bunch of things about my soul along the way.

Each weekly session consists of an extremely hard-earned teaching and a breathwork exercise.

Breathwork makes use of a simple 3-part breathing pattern to consciously clear old patterns and emotional residue from the body.  It can be a bit intimidating, so the first session's practice is about 12 minutes long, building to more than twice that time as you get more comfortable with the practice.  

Each week, we're consciously engaging in momentary discomfort for the sake of connecting with your own interiors and diving into your truest expression of life on this planet. (Expansion! Aliveness! Joy! All you have to do is breathe with me!)

We'll face what's stuck, outdated, unconscious, or unheard within you. That means you'll leave behind a great deal of doubt, mess, struggle, fear, and hurt.  

You'll find your knowing on the other side of all that work.

Knowing exactly which step to take next.  
Knowing what you actually want, not what society says you want.  
Knowing which interior voices are your own -- and which are someone else's.  
Knowing which projects are meant to take shape -- and which are distracting you from your truest work.
